Hetch Hetchy Water and Power reports as follows:
This week we anticipate continuing the current valve and draft schedule for the next week. The weather forecasted this weekend (4+ inches between Friday and Sunday) will likely cause Lake Eleanor to rise and resume spilling. I would expect
up to 1300 cfs in additional spill at Eleanor during this event. Also, we have been having some issues with our power lines, which has necessitated cuts in generation at Holm and Kirkwood Powerhouses. These have been at regular times – 6 AM to 10 AM and 6PM
to 10 PM, though the amount of generation reduction is uncertain. We hope to resolve these issues soon, and return to round the clock full generation.
