Hetch Hetchy Water and Power reported on April 10 as follows:
We have a significant change to our power generation this week. Power prices are actually negative during some hours, meaning HHWP is paying to generate. We would prefer not to. So, generation from Holm and Kirkwood Powerhouses will be
reduced significantly from 8AM to 2PM starting Thursday April 10 and running at least through Monday, April 15. We will reevaluate prices on Monday, and determine whether these plans will continue, cease, or be modified. I will send an update then.
