Hetch Hetchy Water and Power reported on June 14 as follows:
Please see the table below for planned changes to HHWP reservoir releases affecting flows on Cherry Creek and the Tuolumne River for the next several days. Valve releases from Hetch Hetchy Reservoir will decrease from 6,000 cfs to 5,700
cfs tomorrow, Saturday, June 15th. Cherry Reservoir valve releases will decrease from 800 cfs to 500 cfs tomorrow as well. Lake Eleanor will remain full and spilling, with the total release expected to decline gradually.
Daytime KPH and HPH power generation has begun to increase in response to favorable pricing, although weekends will still see decreases in flow rates during the hours of 07:00 through 17:00. The table includes the minimum daily powerdraft
release estimate for each powerhouse.
