Just a reminder that this weekend is the first scheduled release in Mill
Creek Canyon on the North Fork Rogue! There are two(3) runs available
here.
A class IV (IV+) run from Mill Creek Falls to the powerhouses and a class
3 play run from the powerhouses to the lower take out above Lost Creek
Lake. Whichever run you choose be prepared for cold water and a little
hiking.

Here's what this weekend's release schedule looks like:

Target flow below the Prospect Diversion Dam will be:
Sat. July 18th 9:00 to 12:00PM - 235cfs
Sat. July 18th 2:00 to 5:00PM - 85 cfs
Sun. July 19th 9:00 to 12:00PM - 385cfs
Sun. July 19th 2:00 to 5:00PM - 450 to 500cfs (depending on North Fork
inflow)

* Ground water coming from springs in the Avenue of the Giant Boulders as
well as water from Mill Creek Falls and Barr Creek falls will add to these
Target Flows. (added 400cfs)

The following scheduled release weekends will be a consistent flow
release, not multiple flow levels like this weekend.

This event is a big deal because AW and volunteers have been working on this project for 6+ years. We really need people to come out and paddle this stretch to keep FERC from shutting down the project after one season. this is the first release out of 4 happening this summer.
Come out and paddle!
