SMUD writes as follows:

"We decided to open a spillway gate at Union Valley.  Sometime today, through July 7 most likely.  We will open it enough to release 800 to 900 cfs.  This volume will add to the existing spill at all dams downstream: Junction, Camino, Slab Creek, and Chili Bar."
