Hetch Hetchy Reservoir spill will diminish this week as inflows recede. All HHWP reservoir releases are anticipated to be at or very near minimum release requirements by the weekend.

 

Reminder: Tomorrow June 15 is a “No Water Wednesday” -- flows on the Tuolumne are expected to be below 1,000 cfs during daytime hours.

 

Hetch Hetchy Reservoir

• Total flows below O’Shaughnessy are approximately 550-600 cfs as of this morning
• Releases are expected to diminish this week as spill recedes and valves are set to minimum release requirements
• Minimum O’Shaughnessy streamflow requirement for June-August is 110 cfs

 

Cherry Reservoir

• Valve releases of 6-7 cfs
• Minimum Cherry streamflow requirement increases to 15 cfs July 1

• Holm Powerhouse
• Reminder: Wednesday June 15 is a “No Water Wednesday”
  (no 07:00-11:00 pulse flow scheduled)
• 950 cfs pulse 07:00-11:00 resumes on June 16
• No afternoon/evening pulses scheduled June 16 onward unless notified otherwise

 

Lake Eleanor

• Valve releases of 20-25 cfs
