Below are planned releases from HHWP facilities the week of June 4^th.

We strive to keep the user community updated on projected flows on the Tuolumne River, flows are expected to vary significantly over the coming weeks with spring runoff and reservoir management .

 

Stated flow rates are best estimates and are subject to change as conditions and operational constraints evolve.

 

Hetch Hetchy Reservoir

• Total flows below O’Shaughnessy are approximately 7300 cfs as of this morning.
• No valve moves are planned, valve release may increase slightly due to rise in reservoir elevation.
• Kirkwood Powerhouse
• Spill of approximately 390 cfs from 19:00-00:00
• Little to no spill expected 00:00-19:00

 

Cherry Reservoir

• Total flows below Cherry are approximately 1900 cfs
• Potential valve increase to 2500 cfs this weekend

• Holm Powerhouse
• Approximately 25 cfs 00:00-17:00
• Significantly increased flows from 17:00-00:00
• Approximately 500 -800 cfs 17:00-00:00

 

Lake Eleanor

• Valve releases of 500 cfs
• Spill approximately 900-1200 cfs
• Spill expected to increase to 1400-1700 cfs this weekend
• Total flow below Eleanor approximately 1400-1700 cfs
