Below are planned releases from HHWP facilities through May 9.

We strive to keep the user community updated on projected flows on the Tuolumne River. Flows will continue to vary significantly over the coming weeks as weather changes and spring runoff season begins.
Stated flow rates are best estimates and are subject to change as conditions and operational constraints evolve.
Hetch Hetchy Reservoir
- Total flows immediately below Hetch Hetchy are currently 1,960 cfs.
- Flows will remain at this rate until Sunday May 5, at which point a reduction to 1,500 cfs is tentatively scheduled
- Additional modest flow rate changes are possible next week in response to a forecasted cooldown
- Kirkwood Powerhouse
- Spill of approximately 700 cfs around the clock Monday-Friday
- *WEEKENDS: spill will reduce to 0 cfs from 07:00-19:00, 700 cfs otherwise
Cherry Reservoir
- Total flows immediately below Cherry are approximately 760 cfs
- Flows are scheduled to increase to 1,000 cfs Friday May 3
- Additional flow increases may be required due to forecasted precipitation
- Flows will tentatively reduce toward 500 cfs Monday May 5 in response to forecasted cooldown
- Holm Powerhouse
- Spill of approximately 1,000 cfs around the clock Monday-Friday
- *WEEKENDS: spill will reduce to 0 cfs from 09:00-17:00, 1,000 cfs otherwise
Lake Eleanor
- Valve releases of 650 cfs
- Spill approximately 200-800
- Spill may be higher on Saturday due to forecasted precipitation activity

Meral’s Pool
- Flows are currently 5,500-6,000 cfs
- Flows will increase toward 6,000-7,000 cfs Friday into the weekend
- Weekend flow rates will vary between approx. 5,500-7,000 cfs
- Flows could temporarily be higher than this projection in response to Saturday rain event
- Flows are expected to reduce toward 4,500-5,000 cfs early next week
