We paddled the Outlet creek run on Dec. 1st from 11:30-2. Flow seemed to be around 1000-1200cfs. We thought most the flow was coming out of Outlet creek around 600-700. |

I just noticed there is a new USGS gauge in Willits that might help guesstimate the flow on Outlet.

As of last Tuesday the flat water started at the private bridge across the reservoir. It's about 1.7 miles to the boat ramp from there. |

I forgot to mention you could just barely duck under the bridge at 600cfs in a kayak. Easy to see the bridge from upstream. |

This strainer is still there. Pretty nasty if you take the left channel that has the most water and is the traditional route. The right channel takes you safely by the tip of the log.

An Alder fell across the entire channel just downstream of the private bridge at cominsky. You could paddle up to it and pull your boat over at these flows. |
