| New tree down across river about 100 yards downstream from Preston take-out (Geysers rd), 600 yards upstream from Cloverdale river park take-out. At this location the river makes a quick zig left, then zag right. The tree is not viewable from upstream, but only can be seen after coming around the bend. At that point it's 10 yards in front of you, current going directly into tree . There is no place to take-out on either shore. Best to avoid by taking out in Preston, or portaging on the right bank around obstacle, then continuing to Cloverdale.

| When cfs is above 1500 there is a channel flowing around to the right of this obstacle. At lower cfs, this tree is a real hazard for boats & tubers.
