On May 5, 2011 at about 800 cfs, we came across a new downed tree. About 1/2 mile below the new concrete highway bridge, the tree blocks the entire route. It is in the sharp left turn where trees have been hanging low for years. Now one tree decided to fall over the river. The river also goes to the right with an island in the middle. The right is too shallow to boat. It is easy to stop on the island and portage around the tree.

Towards the end of the run there is another newly downed tree in another sharp left turn. This tree has made an arch over the river and is easy to go under.

The downed tree at the end of the run is now very runnable on the right side of the tree.
