Water Management and Access Issues:

1.  The maximum flow that can be released from Fordyce Lake depends on reservoir level.  The lower the level, the lower the maximum flow, because there's less pressure available to force the water out.

2.  The original draw-down schedule called for 400 cfs for twenty days.  However, turned out the reservoir level was too low to release the full 400 cfs, so they started by releasing 350 cfs instead.  As the reservoir level dropped so did the flow, which fell slowly but steadily during the release from 350 to 275 cfs.

3.  Releases shown are expected releases.  Actual releases may be different than shown (though they should still be reasonably close).  In addition, sudden higher or lower (or no) releases may result from emergency mechanical or electrical conditions.

4.  Before heading out, be sure to check the relevant Dreamflows flow report and Bulletin Board thread to determine current and expected release trends.

5.  Users are urged to use caution and to wear all appropriate personal protective equipment.
