South Fork Silver Creek ("South Silver")

Justin States just entering the slide part of Boof, Boof, Slide rapid.  This is an intimidating rapid, especially the first time you run it.  You may have nightmares about the possibility of screwing up the first boof, and somehow going down the left side (i.e. on the other side of the rock next to Justin in the photo), especially at lower flows.  On the other hand, looks may be deceiving, since the rapid generally goes without a hitch.  - Photo: Cindy Seibel
