| Seeing that they are keeping the flow at 450cfs until further notice, has anyone run this section at low flow, and are there any exposed hazards I can expect? Will be taking a group of intermediate paddlers (kayak) down this class II section in mid-August. Thanks for any tips or suggestions.

| I've done it at that flow in a open flatwater canoe many years ago, no problems that I remember. A nice, scenic float. A few small II- rapids here and there. IIRC, there are some small weirs below the put-in, and they should probably be avoided by portaging. Alternatively, you could avoid them by putting on at the nearest access point below Lewiston - I think there's one called Rush Creek fishing access, also there's access off Deadwood Rd.
