| | Ran this run today. Definitely two huge rapids in at the flow we did. At 12:30pm put in, flow was approximately 20,000 cfs at Arcata. A mystery man arrived at put in and let up know there was a class V and class IV in there at lower flows. First rapid was approximately 7 miles from put-in. Big boulders on left and right, river does an S from left to right, then right to left. In the middle of this "S", we eddied out on river right. Mystery man said at lower flows there is a 12 foot drop. No drop today, but very large. Huge geology. Second rapid, approximately 3 miles after the 1st. Indicator is a large boulder/cliff face on river left with a big crack in it. Maybe a bit high of a level for most people. It would be helpful if the class V was indicated on Dreamflows.
