Posted: May 10, 2019Post Subject: Middle Section of Silver Fork - 2 downed tree hazards

| This is my first hazard post to Dreamflows so anyone please feel free to correct my hazard language. We did the Class 3-4 middle section of the Silver Fork on April 24, 2019. It was about 1150-1300 cfs estimated. Flows are still in that range in May now. It's a fun run for the intermediate whitewater folk like us, and I wanted to post the hazards.
There are 2 riverwide tree-strainer hazards in this short 3 mile section that appeared to us to be must portage at these flows. I'm not real good with mileage or rapids, but I believe they are about 2/3 mile and then 1.5 miles down the rapid. ________________________________ I love Riverboarding!
