| We paddled the Middle Eel this Wednesday/Thursday, at flows of 1300-1500, and found it spectacular, well worth the effort and a surprisingly smooth portage line down the right side at Coal Mine Falls. Slightly more water would've made it even better, but the flow was excellent and due to the monster snowpack you should start planning now.
Black Butte Store does shuttles for $50, well worth the effort, ask for Margie, #707-983-9438.
