| There is a tree almost completely spanning
the McCloud in the calm section as the river runs by
the Hearst compund. It is between the first and second
group of buildings; Easily seen and negotiated at
present flow, approx. 950cfs; there is space for a
boat on river right - but could be a problem at higher
water if you don't see it.
