| South Feather Water and Power Agency writes as follows:| Quote: | SFWPA needs to reduce the water surface elevation of Little Grass Valley Reservoir to perform normal maintenance and regulatory inspections on the spillway chute. This reduction would consist of a release of approximately 11,000 AF of water over the next couple weeks. We will begin increasing downstream releases Wednesday, 7/26, and conclude the increase end of day Friday, 7/28. The target for the release is 375 cfs.
We will begin decreasing the release on Thursday, 8/10, tentatively. This release will not affect a drawdown release later this fall. The details of that release will be communicated at a later date. |
In short: Expect 375 cfs from 7/28 through about 8/10. This release is unrelated to the normal draw-down release in the fall.

It will remain at the current release of approximately 250 cfs through the weekend. SFWPA will continue decreasing the release Monday and Tuesday. |
