| | It's April 10, 2025. I'm running the Eel from Dos Rios to Alderpoint from April 20-24. Has anyone been down this spring ? Are there any obstructions? Is the takeout road from the parking area down to the river still extremely soft dirt that even a 4WD truck would get stuck in? Thanks, Stewart

| Hi Stewart,
Just finished the run, no hazards on river. We did drive 2 vehicles, both had 4WD, down and back up the road to cobble bar take out at Alderpoint, and there were some soft dirt spots and spinning tires, but definitely do-able if you have momentum.

Have a great trip! Fun rapids, otters, eagles, deer, beautiful scenery, redbud, wildflowers, and we did not see another boater for our entire 5 day trip,
