There is landsliding occuring on river left side of Staircase Rapid. This is the same section that slid many years ago that changed the rapid then. Mark Root saw it yesterday and actually saw movement. It has yet to effect the run as we have known but beware and make sure its clear before running. New low snows might cause it to slide further thus possibly changing quickly. Beware of a possible new "pond" in the rapid approach an indication of further sliding and damming.
