| Does anyone know approximately how many hours it takes the normal 1,100 cfs discharge to go from Meral's Pool to North Fork?

| Nope, so what follows is just my best guess. It's 15 miles from Meral's Pool to the North Fork confluence. Assuming an average flow rate of 3 mph, which seems a reasonable guess to me at these flows, it would take 5 hours (i.e. flows should start rising about 2pm). Assume a different flow rate and the travel time changes, naturally, for instance assume 4 mph and flows at the North Fork start to rise around 1pm.
Note though that the minimum flows at Meral's are currently about 600 cfs, even outside the official release times, so I expect there's enough water for you to float down from the North Fork anytime.
