There is new wood in Upper stretch of South Branch of Feather following December 1rst high water. large diameter log is loged into mini gorge drop upstream of waterfalls. Downstream of only major trib on the left. Log is stuffed vertically into a pot hole and we portaged RR. Second hazard is easily spotted half way through the waterfalls and approximately 4 drops above 99 problems.
