Does anyone know what days there will be releases in Goodwin Canyon during October? Or how to find this information? Thanks.

Thanks for posting. Just a heads up that in previous years I found no clear correlation between the posted scheduled releases and actual releases, either in flow or timing, which is why I stopped posting this schedule on Dreamflows. But that was a few years ago. Hopefully this year is different ...

Thanks, Chris. Yeah, we rafted on the first Saturday three or four years ago and flows dropped to about 600 cfs by mid-afternoon...made for an interesting but still fun day! So far the Orange Blossom flows are relatively consistent with the scheduled releases (other than the first 24 hours where pools were filling and such). The commercials are running Sat/24th and Sun/25th, so maybe they know something more. Have you heard from anyone running Camp Nine in recent weeks? On most days looks like kayak/IK only until 3 p.m. (and then rafting ok until about 8 p.m.).

Thanks for posting the schedule. Is this on the Bureau of Rec website somewhere? I haven't heard anything more from AO after their double days this weekend, so I'm assuming it's the same info for everyone. As for Camp 9, flows usually peak at 4:00, but I've launched after 6:00 and bumped down it in a 14' boat somewhere between 500-600 cfs.

We ran Camp 9 last Friday, October 16th. We put in at 2 pm; we were planning to put on at noon, but drove slower than expected. There was 950ish cfs. (It was a great flow). It seems to me like the flow schedule is more erratic now than it was in the summer. Meaning, one could put on in the middle of the day and enjoy a nice flow. The river bed felt very full of water, like it isn't draining completely.
