| There is a new hazard rock about 3 miles downstream from Briceburg. This rock became visible at flows around 1000 cfs. There is a large fin-rock in the wave train of a no-name class II-III rapid at Goods Gulch. The hazard can be seen from the Briceburg River Road. Goods Gulch has a 12 foot diameter culvert bridge and is just upstream form Willow Placer Campground.
This hazard just appears in an otherwise innocent wave train on Friday June 15. This hazard may be especially dangerous to inner tubers as the flows continue to drop.
