| There is a large log that extends from river right past both boulders and about 75 feet into the main channel that is just under the surface at 1600 cfs. It has many broken off branches, and could snag a swimmer or upside down kayaker. It is an exceptionally dangerous strainer, and is almost impossible to see even when scouting. Kayakers have reported seeing it while floating over it. Please pass the word, as it may be hard to see for a while, and poses an exceptional danger.
