American Whitewater has confirmed with Pacific Gas & Electric that they have cleared recreational releases for PIT 5 with the California Independent System Operator (CAISO). Flows are a GO for September 26 & 27 for 1200 cfs from 10 am to 4 pm. Madesi Camp Ground and bathrooms will be open as well as the the James B Black take-out bathrooms. The Shasta-Trinity National Forest is open for legally recognized public uses and recreation. NO OPEN FIRES ALLOWED including camp stoves and smoking, anywhere in the Shasta-Trinity National Forest or at any PG&E facility.
