The B120 report for February hasn't come out yet (it's expected around Feb 8).  When it does, the water year type could change from the current Dry designation to Super Dry.

The scheduled release page reflects this worst-case scenario through the end of February.  The situation could change when the February B120 reports comes out though (hopefully it will), so be sure to check back around February 10 for an update.

The B120 report for February predicts that the "Unimpaired Runoff" above Folsom Reservoir will be 1.450 MAF (million acre-feet).  This translates to a Dry water year type for the rest of February through early March.

What this means is that we will continue to get Saturday and Sunday releases, from 9AM until noon, until the end of February.  Then, from March 1 onward, there will be scheduled releases every day except Wednesday and Thursday.

The Dry designation will persist at least until the next B120 bulletin comes out, around March 10.  Check back then for an update.

The scheduled release page gives more details. It assumes a Dry water year type through the end of March (but that could change, see previous para, so check back later).

The B120 report for March predicts that the "Unimpaired Runoff" above Folsom Reservoir will be 1.265 MAF (million acre-feet).  This translates to a Dry water year type for the rest of March through early April.

What this means is that we will continue to get scheduled releases every day except Wednesday and Thursday.

The Dry designation will persist at least until the next B120 bulletin comes out, around April 10.  Check back then for an update.

The B120 report for April predicts that the "Unimpaired Runoff" above Folsom Reservoir will be 1.100 MAF (million acre-feet).  This translates to a Dry water year type for the rest of April through early May.

What this means is that we will continue to get scheduled releases every day except Wednesday and Thursday.

The Dry designation will persist at least until the next B120 bulletin takes effect, around May 10.  Check back then for an update.

The B120 report for May predicts that the "Unimpaired Runoff" above Folsom Reservoir will be 0.835 MAF (million acre-feet).  This translates to a Super Dry water year type until the end of October for sure, and most likely until around Feb 10, 2022.

What this means is that we will continue to get scheduled releases Monday, Saturday and Sunday through Memorial Day, however we're losing Tuesday and Friday releases.  Note however that there is still a release scheduled for tomorrow (Tuesday, May 11).

From Memorial Day through Labor Day we will get releases every day except Tuesday and Wednesday.

The Super Dry designation will persist at least until the end of October.  Check back then for an update.

The scheduled release page gives more details.  It assumes a Super Dry water year.  The schedule extends only until the end of May at this point, but I'll update it fully tonight.
