| | Somewhere in the middle gorge on the south salmon limestone run there is a harmless class 3 leading into a gorged out slot with a rock in the middle. Go right! the move isn't particularly hard but the left side has several logs jammed in it and looks potentially deadly at most runnable flows. boaters who couldn't make the left to right move easily should not be paddling the south fork gorge anyway however, this hazard seemed noteworthy because it is not easily visible until you are close to it.
