| There is a large tree jammed in the right channel of the Chamberlain Falls rapid. I saw this tree last summer at low low flows, and the trunk is pointing upstream at a perfect angle to cause big trouble. At current flows (500-ish) it looks like a rock just under the surface. Given that the bottom of my boat scraped over it today at about 550 cfs, I would discourage running this side of the rapid anywhere below 600 cfs.
