| | 3/4 of the way from Hendee to Demmick there is an "island" of vegetation, typical of that stretch. It would appear that the right channel has a log from the bank on river right blocking passage. If one then takes the left channel there is a tree completely blocking it. Back to the right, someone has chainsawed a cut through the log (wide enough for a drift boat perhaps) so this is the route of choice. Run on March 6, 2010 at 1200 cfs (Navarro)
