3. Before heading out, be sure to check the relevant Dreamflows flow report and Bulletin Board thread to determine current and expected release trends.
4. Pit 1 releases work differently than most other rivers. Normally, water is diverted to the Pit 1 Powerhouse, and not much is left in the river. During scheduled releases Pit 1 Powerhouse is switched off, which stops the diversion, so whatever is naturally in the river is what we have to boat on. This is typically about 900 cfs, but could be more, or less.
