| For boaters putting-in at the confluence, the only take-out currently available is at the end of the Oregon Bar road, about 5.5 river miles downstream of the confluence. Road access is from the China Bar access gate at the end of Maidu road, and is open 4 days/week, Friday-Monday, year-round. Requires a 300 yd carry from river to parking area. The Birdsall take-out road washed out in high water and is closed.

| Rattlesnake Bar on Folsom Lake is an another possible take-out for the confluence run. It is 9.8 river miles from the confluence, and usually requires some flatwater paddle-out. See Folsom elevation for length of flatwater. It is closed for the winter, check Folsom SRA website for open dates.
