| | There was a signifcant wood loading project just completed in this reach focused from Silver Ck to Charlton Ck. Its in the middle of this reach. This is a not heavily used reach of river for boating, but any efforts to paddle this reach right now will be very difficult and dangerous do to the amount of large trees placed in the river (around 200). This is an effort to help prevent the extirpation of endangered Spring Run Chinook salmon who's numbers have dwindled from 10,000 to just a few dozen. Any questions can be directed to the Watershed Research and Training Center.
