UPDATED AS OF APRIL 13 - Sacramento Municipal Utility District has informed American Whitewater that they must CANCEL scheduled releases for this weekend. The snow melt has brought inflow to levels they will not be able to control to the prescribed releases. The automatic gate at the top of Slab Creek Road will remain open from sunrise to sunset for boaters to take advantage of opportunistic flows this weekend. Tentatively, SMUD is rescheduling the controlled flows of 850 CFS and 1500 CFS for next weekend April 22 & 23.
