Bill Deitchman of California State Parks reports as follows: "Please be advised that PCWA (Placer County Water Agency) and PG&E will be involved in some work power-line work adjacent to Oxbow road from March 2nd through March 7th.  The road will be closed during work hours (7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.) during that period.  Blacksmith Road (to Ralston Afterbay) will not be affected by this closure".  In other words, the road will be closed just above the Tunnel Chute run put-in.
