| | Hello, looks like the SF American is probably around 2100 cfs this week. Could anybody comment on these flows for novice-intermediate IK paddlers? Thanks.

| I always find it hard to comment on relative difficulties for folks I don't know, especially for an IK (a craft I'm not very familiar with). One person shreds everything, the next has a terrible time. But, given you're novice-intermediates, I'd guess that you'll find both Chili Bar and The Gorge tough going and perhaps downright scary, while Coloma to Greenwood would probably be good.
Have you checked out the cacreeks page, which is an IK-centric online guidebook for the SFA? You could also shoot off email to the webmaster Bill Tuthill, who is an IKer himself.
