Oh what a splendid day!! The river came up last night just in time for a St. Patricks day celebration! First time this year no wetsuit or drytop! It really felt like spring!! It was a one day thing I think the flows are already too low again.

Yeah, This stretch is along the hiway. Scenery is pretty good considering,nice rock formations and lots of osprey and great blue herons.Starts off with the two class III rapids(pics) then mellows out for a couple miles till you get to Comminsky station rd. Then the rapids pick back up to class II for a couple miles. Flows need to be over 360 to make the squaw rock rapid runnable. Otherwise the lower Comminsky run is still good. Zak
