THE BEAUTIFUL SOUTH FORK OF THE AMERICAN RIVER – Friends of the River presents a forum on current issues facing the South Fork of the American River, Bill Center, former El Dorado County Supervisor and owner of Camp Lotus, Jim Eicher of Folsom Bureau of Land Management and Alan Ehrgott of the American River Conservancy.

DAM IRRESPONSIBLE - What would happen to the Sacramento area and levee system should an earthquake hit the proposed Auburn Dam? Find out the devastating answer and learn about the history and future of the campaign to finally put the dagger in the heart of the Auburn Dam.
1:00 p.m.
HIGH WATER, SIX INCHES FROM MYHEAD - Bill McGinnis, veteran boater and owner of Whitewater Voyages will discuss the issues, problems and joy of running big water. He’ll focus on what boaters will face this year on the South, Middle and North Forks of the American River.
2:15 p.m.
BRINGING THE SALMON HOME - Craig Tucker, Klamath Campaign Coordinator for the Karuk Tribe of California, will discuss the recent successes, and the coming battles in the fight to take the dams off of the Klamath. He'll also be showing SHAKE YOUR ONCORHYNCHUS!, a look at all of the fish species in the Klamath, set to hip hop music (?).
