Due to State Water Board drought requirements, NCPA is being forced to dump approx 2500 acre feet of water from Spicer Reservoir over the next 7 days. The max flow at Avery is likely to be 550 cfs (not accounting for rain). No guarantee of consistency, but it will likely remain boatable throughout this period. Irie Shuttles is on call.

NCPA has decreased their output from Spicer Reservoir. Information provided is that flows will not remain at levels experienced this past week and are unlikely to return due to intentional releases. However, NCPA has been instructed to allow all inflow to pass-no more storage is allowed. So rains can increase flow where they would not have previously.
