Posted: Jun 6, 2019 Post Subject: BEWARE - Two New Logjams as of 6/5/19

We ran the South Silver below Ice House on 6/5/19 in inflatable kayaks at a flow of 250 cfs. There are two new (for 2019) logjams that you need to be aware of. The first logjam is located 0.4 miles below the bridge put in.
The second logjam is located about a mile above the takeout, just above the Big Ledge rapid.
Please note that the pictures were taken at 250 cfs. Getting around these logjams at 400 cfs or 500 cfs is likely to be more risky. Picture below is of first logjam
