| We paddled from Big Bend to James Black powerhouse today and there is a strainer in Bad Alder blocking the right side of the main channel at 450cfs. From the top it looks like there is a small gap between the strainer and the right shore but when you get down to it the gap is actually part of the strainer. I was able to boof it and 4wd over the log in my IK but it's a pretty sketchy spot. Shouldn't be to hard to clear with a hand saw next time.

| The flow was 1600cfs yesterday and we took the righthand channel just downstream from the put in and it had some fun class II action and avoided the whole mess. I recommend this route until the strainer is clear.
