| Did Fordyce on Friday (7/16) and came across a bad log. It's the drop directly below the only place on the run where an old log spans the river about four feet above the water. After you duck under the log and eddy out there's a small horizon line. Right below that horizon line there's a small tree that stretches across the whole river, but you can't see it until you're already committed to the drop. We happened to run it on the far left, which is the only place you can get over the log, but if you were to venture anywhere farther right, you'd probably get really pinned. The drop is in the first 1/3 of the run and the big old log across the river is a pretty easy identifier, so be careful (whenever Fordyce has flows again).
