| There is a log in the right channel of the last big rapid before the confluence with the Trinity River. The rapid is commonly run on the right side against the wall to avoid a stout hole. It looks like there is a channel that could be run on the left at higher flows. The log can be seen from the overlook so check it out before dropping into the gorge. Enjoy.

| Last time I checked the high flows pushed the log out of the gorge. She's good to go.
