| This taken from Bill Pooleys Kaweah river page, go there for upto date info:
04-02-07 HAZARD WARNING ON THE EAST FORK! 0.6 miles below the Oak Grove Bridge put-in at the second big drop, the drop with a huge tilted slab against the wall now has a new car sized slab blocking the river. The portage requires ropes and is described as tricky with 4 boaters. Higher flows or fewer boaters increases the risks. East Fork flow was low, probably 140 cfs, on Apr. 1, the day of the encounter. It is possible to put in below this hazard with some imagination.
