There is a Fir tree across the whole river just above the waterfall. at 200cfs yesterday is was easy for a kayak to duck under on river left and get out and put back in to still run the waterfall.

We put in at the bridge and there is a strainer just downstream that is pretty bad.Doug Fir is still blocking the waterfall and there is a gnarly strainer blocking the whole river on the last class II on the blind right corner! Don't run it! We barely made it under it today.

It washed away two weeks ago so the river is clear. However, there was a slide on the tracks just upstream so watch out for new rocks in the previous rapid.

Thanks for posting, without those strainers I rather paddle to Ocean St ext. take out then hike up the Rincon trail.
