Placer County Water Agency reports today as follows:
Quote: | PCWA will NOT be able to supply recreation flows for Tuesday September 8.
All Middle Fork Project power houses will be shut down today by 8:00pm by PG&E transmission. PG&E is taking this step as part of their Public Safety Power Shutoff program. PCWA has not control of this event and loss of MFP water conveyance.
Please forward this information on to anyone who will be affected. I will send an update about Wed Sep 9 when I have more information, but assume rafting releases will be cancelled that day as well. |
