Scheduled recreational flows for the Poe on the North Fork Feather River on October 9th and 10th have been cancelled. American Whitewater reached out to confirm planned releases for this weekend and Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E) informed us of management’s decision not to provide recreational flows this year. PG&E is not required to release whitewater flows until a recreational plan, which contains release schedules, is approved by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC). American Whitewater expects the recreational plans to be approved by FERC soon and will keep paddlers informed of any future opportunities for the Poe reach.
