We kayaked this run yesterday. There was a huge nasty tree across the middle of the class 4 rapid (bear creek?). Its before the 2nd half of it that drops into the chute. It's still runable on river left(then you usually ferry across to river right for the straight chute), just not something you want to stumble in to. The river was rising fast! It was over 1500 when we took out! I believe the gage is off and was even higher. Good times

| Ya that's bear creek rapid, I doubt you can see the tree on your way down. There is a small camp sight ware you could scout a rout around the log.

| Rafted on May 10th, log has moved out of channel totally out of the rapid. Normal slot is open.
