Posted: Feb 27, 2009 Post Subject: Plan threatens Mokelumne Middle Bar reach & part of Electra

| East Bay MUD's latest water plan includes building a higher Pardee Dam and expanding the reservoir to flood the entire Mokelumne River Middle Bar reach and nearly a mile of the Electra Run, except in summer. Middle Bar Bridge would likely be removed.
Concerned paddlers should write letters to EBMUD and comment on the EIR in person or at one of the public hearings in Lodi, Sutter Hill, Walnut Creek or Oakland next month.
